Posting Payments

Payments are posted directly to the Financial Account record. 

  • On the account where payment is being posted for, click the Green Plus button next to Payments.
  • Enter in payment info – Be sure to highlight/select the fee(s) to which the payment applies - Save

You can link to the Financial Account record, to post a payment for a customer, in one of the following ways.

Method 1: Directly from the Financial Account

  • Click on the Financial Account in the main navigation.
  • Search and click to open the record

Method 2: Directly from an Invoice

  • Click on the Invoice in the main navigation
  • Search and click to open the record
  • Click to the parent financial account

Method 3: Directly from a Permit

  • Click on the Permit Manager from the main navigation
  • Search and click to open the record
  • Click on the Invoice record in the panels on the right
  • Click to the parent financial account

Printing a Receipt for Payment

From the Account screen, and the payment section, click the button to print the Receipt.
